Mediante esta simplificacion se consigue, en el caso de un satelite a gran altitud, que el problema inicial de tres grados de libertad, quede reducido al problema zonal que ya es resoluble mediante las transformaciones de deprit, alfriend y coffey.  el conjunto de rutinas ensambladas con el nombre de malisias (mathematica lie simplifications in artificial satellite theory) sirve para implementar de forma totalmente automatizada todas las simplificaciones necesarias para la obtencion de intermediarios, hamiltonianos promediados y efemerides de un orden generico en el caso del problema
