El tema de la investigacion fue el estudio de la \u00abcultura organizacional percibida a nivel universitario\u00bb. La investigacion fue aplicada antes de implementar el programa gubernamental dirigido a mejorar la calidad y la equidad de la educacion superior chilena. (Mecesup).  el modelo de investigacion adoptado en esta tesis fue un estudio descriptivo dirigido a examinar la existencia de diferencias significativas en la percepcion de los academicos jornada completa de la universidad de playa ancha en chile, considerado su sexo, edad y numero de a\u00f1os trabajando en la universidad. ademas se realizo un analisis factorial de los itemes medidos por el instrumento. la recoleccion de los datos se realizo a traves de un inventario tipo escala likert, denominado inventario de cultura organizacional innovadora (i.C.O.I).  los datos revelaron la existencia de una cultura fuerte y bastate homogenea. se encontro que hay diferencias significativas entre los academicos cuando se considero las variables sexo, edad y el puntaje total obtenido en el inventario, no asi para la variable a\u00f1os de antig\u00ed\u00bcedad en la institucion. al estudiar las 14 variables medidas por el instrumento y la edad de los encuestados, se hallo que hay diferencias significativas para las siguientes variables: control y autonomia, compromiso y metas comunes. El analisis factorial arrojo una composicion bifactorial en el icoi.  en terminos de estudios futuros se puede decir que el contenido de esta tesis parece bastante relevante y el dise\u00f1o puede ser
