Tras separacion radioquimica de los elementos de interes para su medida mediante espectrometria alfa y gamma de alta resolucion, diversas tecnicas de analisis han permitido establecer el estado particulado de los transuranidos en el medio marino y su distribucion vertical. Asimismo, se han cuantificado los factores de transferencia en sedimentos y organismos marinos y se ha evaluado la incidencia del accidente de chernobyl, acaecido en 1986, en el medio marino de la costa mediterranea espa\u00f1ola. El golfo de san jorge y el delta del ebro, en la costa catalana, han sido objeto de especial estudio por constituir un escenario de enorme interes en el marco de la radioecolog\u00eda marina.
