Para ello se establece un estudio relacionado parametros clinicos, histologicos y bioquimicos. El proposito final es establecer si las prostaglandinas determinadas en los tumores de mama pueden ser un factor pronostico que planteo nuevos enfoques en el tratamiento.  se han estudiado 90 tumores de mama, en diferentes estadios; dise\u00f1ando un protocolo de recogida y transporte de muestras. Se han determinado las prostaglandinas pge2 biciclica y la pg f2a intratumorales mediante tecnica de radioinmunoanalisis previo filtrado del citosol mediante colomnas de fase reversa. A su vez, se determinaron mediante r.I.A. Los receptores estrogenicos y progestagenos de las muestras y se analizaron los siguientes parametros histologicos: grado de diferenciacion celular, infiltracion grasa, infiltracion de vasos, inflamacion intratumoral, infiltracion de bordes peritumorales, histiocitos sinusal ganglionar, tama\u00f1o tumoral, numero de adenopatias metastasicas y presencia de metastasis a distancia en el momentodel diagnostico. Se clasificaron todos los tumodes segun t.N.M. Y se agruparon por grados histopronosticos. Para la comparacion de las cifras obtenidas de pgs intratumorales y los distintos factores pronosticos seha realizado un analisis estadistico no marametrico por rangos.  en el laboratorio se utilizaron 80 tumores de mama para la puesta a punto de la tecnica determinacion de pge2 biciclica y pgf2a mediante r.I.A. Y la validacion del metodo. Las cifras de pgs intratumorales halladas se expresan en pg\/mgr de proteina.  los resultados obtenidos han sido los siguientes:  -los tumores de gran tama\u00f1o (t3+t4) tienen cifras de pge2 bic.
