Estos tienen como sensor interno un esi de amonio con referencia interna solida y membrana liquida de pvc y nonactina. En la preparacion de las membranas biocataliticas se han empleado dos estrategias. Una ha consistido en la inmovilizacion covalente directa de la ureasa sobre la matriz de la membrana sensora del transductor. Cuya matriz ha sido sustituida por un copolimero de injerto de pvc y acido acrilico que incorpora grupos carboxilos que son utilizados para la inmovilizacion del enzima. La segunda estrategia consistio en la inmovilizacion de las bioespecies en una membrana diferente que fue aplicada sobre el transductor.  de esta forma, se han construido un biosensor bacteriano de urea inmovilizando fisicamente bacterias \u00abproteus vulgaris\u00bb (ureasa ) y, biosensores enzimaticos de urea mediante la inmovilizacion covalente del enzima sobre tejido de nylon por diversos metodos.
