Penz y sacc., Se aislaron e identificaron los siguientes metabolitos: 4-(2-acetoxi-etil)-fenol, 4-(1,2-dihidroxi-etil)-1,2-dihidroxibenceno, 2-(3,4-dihidroxifenil)-3,4-dihidroxitetrahidrofurnao, 3,4-dihidroxiacetofenona, \u00e1cido 3,4-dihidroxibenzoico, 4,5-dihidroxi-2-metoxiacetofenona, 4,5-dihidroxi-3-metoxiacetofenona, \u00e1cido 4-hidroxift\u00e1lico, 4-metoxi-3-metil-6-(1-metilpropenil)piran-2-ona. (nectriapironal), 6-(3-hidroxi-1 -metilpropil)-4-metoxi-3-metilpiran-2-ona, 2,5-dihidroximetil-furano. (2,5-dimetanol-furano), \u00e1cido 1h-indol-3-carbox\u00edlico, el esteroide ergosterol, junto con los trigliceridos de los \u00e1cidos grasos oleico, linoleico, linolenico y palmitico y los digliceridos y monogliceridos de estos mismos \u00e1cidos grasos.  se realiz\u00f3 la evaluaci\u00f3n antif\u00fangica contra c.Gloeosporioides de los alcoholes y cetonas arom\u00e1ticas citadas a continuaci\u00f3n: bencil-4-clorofenilcetona, 1-(4-clorofenil)-2-feniletanol, bencil-4-hidroxifenilcetona, 2-fenil-1-(4-hidroxifenil)etan-1-ol, 4-clorofenil-ciclopropilcetona, 4-clorofenil-1-ciclopropilmetan-1-ol, 4-cloro-propiofenona, 1-(4-clorofenil)propan-1-ol, 3-cloropropiofenona y 1-(3-cloro-fenil)propan-1-ol. la mayor actividad se observ\u00f3 con el compuesto 1-(4-clorofenil)-2-feniletanol el cual fue sometido a biotransformaci\u00f3n, con el fin de estudiar el mecanismo de destoxificaci\u00f3n del hongo, en el proceso se observ\u00f3 que la mezcla racemica del compuesto 1-(4-clorofenil)-2-feniletanol produce los siguientes metabolitos: bencil-4-clorofenilcetona, 1-(4-clorofenil)-1-acetoxi-2-feniletano, 2-(4-clorofenil)-2-hidroxi-1-feniletanona, 1-(4-clorofenil)-1,2-dihidroxi-2-feniletano, 1-(4-clorofenil)-1,2-dihidroxi-2-feniletano, 1-(4-clorofenil)-1-acetoxi-2-(2-acetoxifenil)-etanol, 1-(4-clorofenil)-1-acetoxi-2-(3-acetoxifenil)-etano y 1-(4-clorofenil)-1-acetoxi-2-(4-acetoxifenil)-etano.
