Teresa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El objetivo del trabajo fue determinar si la serotonina se incorpora, acumula y libera desde las terminaciones nerviosas noradrenergicas que rodean los vasos cerebrales de gato y bovinos, asi como los mecanismos implicados.  asimismo, investigamos si la serotonina modifica la respuesta contractil a la noradrenalina en estos vasos.  de los resultados obtenidos se concluye que existe una interaccion entre la serotonina y las terminaciones nerviosas noradrenergicas que rodean las arterias cerebrales de estas especies, ya que la serotonina se incorpora, acumula y libera desde dichas terminaciones en ambos casos. La liberacion de serotonina es regulada por receptores alpha2 presinapticos presentes en estas terminaciones noradrenergicas y en arterias cerebrales bovinas la serotonina inhibe la liberacion de noradrenalina y serotonina por activacion de dichos receptores.
