Un modelo no enzimatico compuesto por el complejo tris-zn2+ que simula la accion de las serina b-lactamasas y en particular la b-lactamasa 1 de bacilus cereus. Se han realizado tambien estudios de modificacion quimica de b-lactamasa i alterando selectivamente su actividad frente a distintos tipo de antibioticos. Con el segundo modelo se relacionan los equilibrios de agregacion dimero-tetramero de fosforilasa b con los mecanismos de regulacion de esta enzima, mostrandose que la existencia de este equilibrio es un mecanismo de amplificacion de la sensibilidad. Para el desarrollo de este modelo se ha medido actividad de fosforilasa b a alta concentracion de enzima utilizando un equipo de stopped-flow y un metodo de ensayo espectrofotometrico continuo
