Y la hemos aplicado al estudio teorico de diversos procesos de adsorcion que ocurren en las superficies de metales y de semiconductores. Entre los casos de la quimisorcion en metales hemos analizado la adsorcion de h en metales simples y el proceso de interaccion de atomos con variada electronegatividad en aluminio (li, cl y si) dentro del campo de la quimisorcion en semiconductores hemos analizado la adsorcion de atomos electronegativos en as ga(110) y la reconstruccion y pasivacion mediante azufre de ge(001), nuestras principales conclusiones son que mientras que en los procesos ligados a superficies de metales la reactividad quimica reside en la densidad electronica del sustrato, en los casos de superficies de
