Se utilizan distintos procedimientos para asegurar una utilizacion de los mismos, por reciclado, haciendo aglomerados o por transformacion en materiales de mayor valor a\u00f1adido.  otra via estudiada es la eliminacion de fe, mediante tecnicas de lixiviacion, a fin de obtener un producto de mejor calidad. Tambien se examina la fusion de silicio a altas temperaturas con el objeto de eliminar las impurezas por volatilizacion selectiva, a fin de conseguir una mayor pureza y una puesta en forma adecuada.
