En la primera parte se presentan las bases teoricas y se describen diversos montajes realizados en nuestro laboratorio para detectar desplazamientos en el plano. En la segunda parte se describe la puesta a punto de un sistema interferometrico heterodino. Se realiza una calibracion aplicando la fft y su exactitud se comprueba midiendo las componentes de ondas superficiales rayleigh. Diversas detecciones fueron realizadas relativas a vibraciones de transductores p y s. Tambien se midieron velocidades de propagacion de ondas. En la tercera parte se desarrolla un metodo, basado en la utilizacion del interferometro, para determinar los valores de las frecuencias propias longitudinal, transversal y de torsion. Finalmente, se realiza un estudio experimental de la propagacion de ondas elasticas longitudinales en barras.
