Dolores <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El aluminio es uno de los elementos mas abundantes de la corteza terrestre, sin embargo en el agua de mar se encuentra en cantidades del orden de nanomoles. En la presente tesis doctoral se desarrolla un metodo electroquimico para la determinacion del al en aguas naturales, permitiendo, ademas,  distinguir distintas especies (organicas e inorganicas).  la determinacion electroquimica del al utilizando la tecnica de voltametria de redisolucion catodica (vcr) se pone a punto en el trabajo empleando barridos en alta velocidad (avi). El dise\u00f1os de los instrumentos y su construccion ha sido llevada a cabo en el dpto. De quimica de la ulpg. La disminucion de los tiempos de medida, del ruido producido por fuentes externas, el incremento de las corrientes resultantes y la reduccion del tama\u00f1o del sistema electroquimico hacen a vrcav ideal para el trabajo a bordo de buques y la medida in situ de gran numero de muestras.  el estudio del ciclo biogeoquimico del al en agua de mar es complejo dada la reactividad del elemento. Sus distribuciones verticales y concentraciones varian de una region oceanica a otra. El comportamiento del al se ha estudiado en tres regiones diferentes: las aguas que rodean las islas canarias, las aguas oceanicas del atl.
