Ferulaceum se aislan e identifican 21 sustancias:  dos esteroles, dos cumarina, tres flavomoides y el resto lactonas sesquiterpenicas de las cuales seis fueron del esqueleto germacrano y ocho del tipo eudesmano (cinco nuevas en la bibliografia).  del t.
