Los carbonizados se han preparado mediante pirolisis en atmosfera de nitrogeno a las temperaturas de 300, 400, 500 y 600 c. Dicho proceso de pirolisis parece transcurrir mediante un mecanismo de difusion, no habiendose podido discriminar si dicho mecanismo es bi o tridimensional.  la reaccion de sulfonacion se ha llevado a cabo con acido sulfurico concentrado, oleum del 10% y del 20%, a temperaturas de 80,100 y 120c. La capacidad de cambio de los cambiadores obtenidos varia entre 0.2 y 2.2 meq\/g, obteniendose los valores mas altos cuanto mayores son el % so3 en el agente sulfonante y la temperatura de sulfonacion y cuanto menor es la temperatura de pirolisis, siendo este ultimo el factor de mayor influencia.  la capacidad de cambio de dichos cambiadores no depende solo de la presencia de grupos sulfonicos, sino que existen en los mismos otros grupos funcionales con capacidad de cambio. Por otra parte, los cambiadores preparados a partir de los carbonizados a 300 y 400 c y sulfonados a 120 c con oleum de 10 y 20% presentan una estabilidad termica del orden de 50 c superior a la de las resinas de poliestireno.  el estudio de las isotermas de cambio con los iones na+, ca2+ y fe3+ pone de manifiesto que dichas isotermas se ajustan al modelo de langmuir. Asimismo, la selectividad termodinamica en dichos procesos de cambio aumenta a medida que lo hacen la temperatura y la carga del cation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
