Sol <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En este trabajo se ha hecho un estudio de caracterizacion funcional y molecular del receptor de vip en vesicula seminal de rata. Ademas, se caracterizo tambien el sistema efector de este neuropeptido a este nivel: el sistema de la adenilato ciclasa. El vip mostro una union especifica, reversible y saturable; la union del mismo a las membranas se acopla a la adenilato ciclasa a traves de proteinas gs.  paralelamente se realizo un estudio farmacologico del receptor de vip y se describen dos antagonistas competitivos del receptor de vip en esta glandula.  desde el punto de vista fisiopatologico, se caracterizo el sistema receptor\/efector del vip durante la diabetes experimental inducida en la rata mediante estreptozotocina y durante la hepatectomia parcial tras la reseccion del 70% del higado en la rata.
