Dolores <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El objetivo de esta investigacion ha sido comprobar la utilidad de un programa de intervencion, elaborado a partir de metodolog\u00edas previas (roman y diaz, 1987); (feuerstein, 1979); herrnstein, 1983); (israel, 1987) y aplicado individualmente a los sujetos de inteligencia limite en la mejora de las estrategias cognitivas y del autoconcepto. Trabajamos con dos grupos, experimental y control, y el dise\u00f1o estadistico utilizado fue el de pretest-postest. Tanto en el pretest como en el postest se aplicaron una serie de pruebas psicopedagogicas (wisc, itpa, d-48, fig.-Rey, spreen-benton, conners y piers-harris). Entre pretest y postest se llevo a cabo con los sujetos del grupo experimental un entrenamiento cognitivo personalizado de tres meses de duracion.  nuestros resultados informan sobre mejoras significativas tras la intervencion en los procesos de memoria, atencion, percepcion, conceptualizacion y razonamiento; especial importancia reviste la mejora experimentada por los sujetos en su autoconcepto general.
