Con el fin de analizar la idoneidad del metodo maga se ha realizado la prediccion del equilibrio liquido-vapor de 41 sistemas binarios isotermicos e isobaricos, y los resultados obtenidos se han comparado con los calculados mediante los metodos asog y unifac, con resultados similares.  ademas, se ha determinado experimentalmente el equilibrio liquido-vapor del sistema ternario metanol +
