Asi, la pt(111) presenta un voltagrama con dos estados de adsorcion, uno correspondiente a hidrogeno debilmente adsorbido y a otro al que contribuyen hidrogeno fuertemente adsorbido junto con especies oxigenadas. La superficie pt(110) muestra un solo estado diferenciado de adsorcion de hidrogeno, que en na2co3 y naoh presenta una carga electrica similar a la teorica para una estructura superficial (110)-(1&#215;1) se ha realizado un estudio voltametrico de la adsorcion irreversible de co sobre pt(111), pt(110) y pt(100) en medio alcalino. Sobre pt(110)-(1&#215;1) dicha adsorcion de co produce, una modificacion de la estructura superficial hacia una del tipo (110)-(1&#215;2).  la adsorcion irreversible de metanol y formaldehido sobre pt(111), pt(110) y pt(100) en medio alcalino produce mayoritariamente co adsorbido.  este resultado concuerda con lo observado mediante espectroscopia infrarroja (sniftirs) para una superficie de pt policristalina.  la oxidacion de metanol y formaldehido en medio alcalino es sensible a la estructura superficial del electrodo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
