Experimentos en ratas anestesiadas muestran que cck-8 y secretina, administradas conjuntamente, se inhiben en vez de potenciarse, al igual que ocurre entre el tpa y cada uno de estos peptidos. El mismo resultado es obtenido al usar tecnicas in vitro (pancreas perfundido y aislado y segmentos pancreaticos perfundidos), con las que se demuestra que la secretina reduce la eficacia de la cck-8 y que el tpa atenua la eficacia de la secretina y la potencia de la cck-8. Asi, nuestros datos no apoyan la hipotesis de potenciacion entre distintas vias de acoplamiento estimulo-secrecion en la secrecion pancreatica exocrina de la rata, para concentraciones de cck-8,
