Ambos tipos de agua han sido caracterizadas observandose la influencia de variables como el ph, presion parcial de ozono, temperatura, etc. Sobre los parametros que caracterizan a aquellas: dqo, co, ci, etc. Mediante el estudio cinetico se han determinado parametros fisico-quimicos como coeficientes de transferencia de materia y coeficientes cineticos, que han sido utilizados en un modelo cinetico para predecir la degradacion a alcanzar a partir de determinados caudales de ozono y condiciones experimentales. Asimismo, se ha estudiado la oxidacion mediante ozono o dioxido de cloro de dos contaminantes mayoritarios presentes en aguas residuales alcoholeras:  acido galico y
