Asimismo se estudia la relaci\u00f3n entre el crecimiento del vocabulario y una serie de factores relacionados con el mismo: frecuencia de las palabras en la conferencia, tipo de palabra, tipo de elaboraci\u00f3n y \u00abpredictibilidad\u00bb de la palabra debida a su forma y partes. El estudio se ha realizado con sujetos universitarios de lengua espa\u00f1ola, estudiantes del primer curso de la diplomatura de turismo de la universidad aut\u00f3noma de Madrid. El procedimiento experimental const\u00f3 de los siguientes pasos: videoconferencias, pruebas de comprensi\u00f3n \u00abcloze\u00bb y de verdadero\/falso; pruebas de medici\u00f3n de vocabulario antes de escuchar la conferencia, despu\u00e9s de escuchar la conferencia y cuatro semanas despu\u00e9s. el dominio de lengua de los alumnos se midi\u00f3 previamente mediante el examen de toefl. Se aplicaron los procedimientos estad\u00edsticos de an\u00e1lisis de covarianza y regresi\u00f3n con escalonamiento \u00f3ptimo. Los resultados arrojan un incremento significativo en adquisici\u00f3n de vocabulario mediante la conferencia acad\u00e9mica y, adem\u00e1s, contribuyen a clarificar procesos de comprensi\u00f3n del
