Mediterraneus mediterraneus, t. Picturatus picturatus, mediante la lectura directa de los otolitos y contaje de ovocitos maduros. Utilizando para el crecimiento el metodo del retrocalculo y el modelo de von bertalanffy; los resultados fueron para t. Trachurus trachurus los siguientes: longitud infinita= 355.41mm, k= 0.2375, t0= -0.7899 y peso infinito = 663.74 g para t.M.Mediterraneus:longitud infinita = 315.50 mm, k= 0.2832, t0=-1.3298, y peso infinito = 440.69 g. Para t.P.Picturatus:longitud infinita= 321. 71mm, k= 0.2281, t0= -1.4690 y peso infinito= 482. 25 g en cuanto a la fecundacion t.T.Trachurus con 585.000 huevos presenta un valor que representa aproximadamente mas del doble que t.  mediterraneus mediterraneus y ocho veces mas que t.P.Picturatus.
