Con este trabajo hemos pretendido conocer los efectos de dicha vitamina sobre los diferentes elementos celulares que constituyen los dientes. Para su realizacion, hemos utilizado varios lotes de ratas wistar gravidas, distribuidas formando grupos denominados segun la dosis de vitamina que iban a recibir. Se les administro la dosis correspondiente de forma identica y con regularidad, de modo que cada grupo recibio la cantidad especificada del medicamento de nuestro estudio: la vitamina a.  en el grupo de control, se observo desde los primeros estadios una buena organizacion dentaria; las imagenes estudiadas, indicaron que el diente evolucionaba de forma natural,  del mismo modo que en el grupo de control de aceite, el excipiente utilizado como vehiculo diluyente de la vitamina.  en el grupo de dosis farmacologica, pudimos observar que se producia un desarrollo prematuro de los dientes, aunque todos sus elementos celulares se veia que estaban perfectamente configurados, mientras que en los grupos de dosis toxicas, no solamente se habia producido un desarrollo prematuro de los dientes, sino que tambien se descubrieron algunas malformaciones de los elementos tisulares que constituyen las estructuras del diente.  el alveolo dentario tambien sufre importantes alteraciones; aparece
