El estudio semiempirico se realizo sobre 38 furanocumarinas mas.  se evaluo tambien el potencial electrostatico molecular en el estado fundamental de las diversas furanocumarinas, determinandose la posicion y el valor de sus minimos, la distribucion espacial de dicho potencial, las diferencias existentes entre las distintas series y una comparacion con el potencial electrostatico molecular del psoraleno como molecula de referencia.  en base a los resultados obtenidos se constato la existencia de relaciones estructura-actividad para ciertos procesos biologicos que transcurren con
