Jose <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ademas de las funciones clasicas atribuidas a la hormona 1,25-(oh)2-d3 relacionadas con la homeostasis del fosforo y del calcio, recientemente se han encontrado evidencias de que interviene tambien en procesos de induccion de la diferenciacion de la diferenciacion celular y procesos hematopoyeticos. Pero a las concentraciones de hormona que hay que suministrar para conseguir estos efectos, se producen otros secundarios de hipercalcemia. Es por esto que uno de los objetivos mas importantes en la investigacion dentro del campo de la vitamina d sea la sintesis de analogos de la hormona que tengan los efectos antiproliferativos de la hormona mas acentuados pero a la vez no lleven asociados esos otros hipercalcemicos no deseados.  en este trabajo se describe la sintesis de analogos de la hormona funcionalizados en la posicion c-18, posicion que hasta ahora no habia sido abordada por ningun otro grupo de investigacion.
