basada en una ruta consistente en la formacion de un xanteno sustituido en la posicion 9, seguida de la construccion del anillo de 3-benzazepina.  esta sintesis se ha conseguido por un proceso en 10 etapas, con un rendimiento global del 4,2%.  la formacion del xanteno 9-sustituido se llevo a cabo por adicion nucleofila intramolecular de diversos enolatos sobre un bencino.  el anillo de 3-benzazepina se sintetizo mediante ciclacion electrofila intramolecular de un acetal en medio acido.  palabras clave: alcaloide, clavizepina, xanteno, bencino,
