La obtencion de la sod pura de origen peroxisomal ha permitido preparar un anticuerpo policlonal frente a la enzima y estudiar su reactividad inmunologica frente a diferentes clases de sods y extractos crudos de diversos origenes, tanto vegetales como animales. La masa molecular de la enzima nativa, la composicion en subunidades y el espectro de absorcion visible y ultravioleta de la superoxido dismutasa glioxisomal son similares a los de la mayoria de las
