Dato de gran interes para conocer los eventos que ocurren en la glandula digestiva durante periodos de ayuno (1, 3, 6, 9 y 12 meses).  ademas, en el estudio se ponen de manifiesto las modificaciones que tienen lugar en el espesor de la concha y movilizacion de iones mg2+ y ca2+, en concha y glandula, ya que juegan un papel primordial en los fenomenos de regulacion de la acido y metabolica y respiratoria. Asi, tambien, se consideran parametros como las variaciones producidas en la masa corporal y cambios producidos en las relaciones numericas de los diversos tipos celulares, durante el periodo de
