Basicamente, el trabajo se divide en dos grandes apartados:  1 conjunto de entradas bibliograficas referentes a noticias sobre temas artisticos (exposiciones, critica artistica, estudios de arte del pasado, valoracion de obras plasticas de artistas de entonces, certamenes nacionales, etc..), Extraidas entre varias publicaciones seleccionadas. 2 estudio, valoracion e interpretacion de las noticias del apartado anterior. El mencionado estudio se divide a su vez en varios capitulos referentes a analisis de prensa, la actividad artistica del momento, teoricos y criticos y comentarios pormenorizados sobre cada
