De 20mg\/kg) y sobre las actividades de las enzimas plasmaticas fosfatasa alcalina, aspartato aminotransferasa, alanina aminotransferasa y gamma-glutamiltransferas, asi como sobre el contenido de urea y creatinina (medidas espectrofotometricamente) al objeto de evaluar posibles alteraciones sobre el metabolismo oxidativo hepatico. Las concentraciones plasmaticas de antipirina (medidas por hplc) frente al tiempo se ajustaron a un modelo bicompartimental para el analisis cinetico. Los resultados muestran que la ciprofloxacina, enrofloxacina y norfloxacina son capaces de inhibir el metabolismo oxidativo de la antipirina. El tratamiento de las fluoroquinolonas origino una prolongacion de la vida media de eliminacion y del tiempo medio de residencia, un aumento del area bajo la curva de niveles plasmaticos y una disminucion del aclaramiento plasmatico total de la antipirina. Las actividades de las enzimas estudiadas disminuyeron tras el tratamiento con las fluoroquinolonas, efecto de mayor significancia para la enzima gammaglutamiltransferasa y principalmente para las fluoroquinolonas ciprofloxacina y enrofloxacina. Los datos obtenidos sugieren que estas fluoroquinolonas poseen una potencial accion de inhibicion enzimatica de significancia clinica toxicologica.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de
