De sf6 en camara vitrea de 36 gatos para comprobar si este gas tenia efectos isquemicos, toxicos o deletereos sobre el tejido retiniano.  los medios empleados para comprobar estos fenomenos fueron la biomicroscopia, la angiografia fluoresceinica, la electrorretinnografia y la microscopia electronica.  los controles se efectuaron seriadamente hasta cumplir los seis meses.
