Se ha realizado la sintesis de diversos catalizadores de ortofosfato de litio; masicos, mezclados y soportados. Se abordo en estudio estructural mediante tecnicas convencionales; difraccion de rayos-x, atd, atg, ir, rmn, y el estudio de las propiedades superficiales mediante adsorcion de gases, valoracion de centros activos y xps. Dado que nuestro objetivo era realizar un analisis de la relacion existente entre la estructura y propiedades de los solidos y, su actividad y selectividad, se recurrio a un modelo de reactor sencillo, como es el microresctor de pulsos, para estudiar la actividad catalitica de los distintos catalizadores sintetizados. Se realizo tambien un acercamiento a la cinetica del proceso de isomerizacion del oxido de propileno a alcohol alilico para plantear un mecanismo formal del proceso. A fin de completar el estudio se llevo a cabo la isomerizacion de epoxidos homologos al oxido de propileno:  1,2-epoxibutano, cis-2,3-epoxibutano y
