Pilar Paloma <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La obra de eugenio fernandez granell, por diversas circunstancias, no ha sido debidamente estudiada ni catalogada hasta la actualidad. El proposito, pues, de esta tesis doctoral ha sido investigar acerca de dicha obra, profundizando sobre la mayor cantidad de aspectos relacionados con la misma. Asi, se ha incluido en primer lugar y a manera de introduccion una reflexion sobre lo que supuso el movimiento surrealista en el nuevo continente, continuandose con la confeccion de la biografia del pintor, a la que han seguido las diversas facetas del analisis estilistico de su obra (el color, la composicion, las diferentes tecnicas y soportes, los temas, los antecedentes plasticos, las etapas y algunas precisiones sobre las realizaciones tridimensionales.  posteriormente, en el apartado de consideraciones finales se ha hecho incapie en los aspectos conceptuales mas destacables de la obra del artista, examinando las concomitancias y divergencias de dicha obra con los supuestos del movimiento surrealista.
