Esta lenta inducci\u00f3n dependiente de la s\u00edstesis proteica \u00abde novo\u00bb, esta relacionada con la falta de degradaci\u00f3n del inhibidor citopl\u00e1smico ikba en las etapas inmediatas de activaci\u00f3n.  respecto a la regulaci\u00f3n transcripcional de la il4 a trav\u00e9s del sitio p1 de su promotor, se ha determinado que en las etapas tempranas de activaci\u00f3n por tcr, es la prote\u00edna nfat1 la que se une mayoritariamente al sitio p1, y en fases m\u00e1s tard\u00edas de activaci\u00f3n es el factor stat-6 el mayoritariamente unido al sitio p1. La uni\u00f3n de estos factores, correlaciona respectivamente, con la inducci\u00f3n o inhibici\u00f3n de la actividad transcripcional dirigida por dicho elemento, y con el aumento o disminuci\u00f3n de tr\u00e1nscritos para el gen de il4 presentes en c\u00e9lulas th2.  por \u00faltimo, se ha determinado en la regi\u00f3n de dna que se extiende desde la posici\u00f3n &#8211; 995 a la + 85 en el gen murino il4ra, que el elemento sp1 localizado alrededor de la posici\u00f3n &#8211; 43, es criterio en la actividad transcripcional basal del promotor, y los elementos nfat (-295) y stat-6 (-395)
