La tesis se divide en tres capitulos. En el primer capitulo sobre la escuela de bagdad en el arte musulman empezando por los motivos tanto a favor como en contra de dibujar la figura humana en la obra del arte del islam. A continuacion se centra el tema en las caracteristicas de las tematicas de dicha escuela. En el segundo capitulo analizamos vida y obra de al wasiti empezando por un resumen historico. Hemos seleccionado los manuscritos mas representativos de al wasiti, analizando tanto la composicion, el equilibrio y el arte arabesco, etc.  en el tercer capitulo hablamos de la linea en general y en la obra de al wasiti en concreto, los materiales y la tecnica.  finalmente comentamos los conclusiones que hemos sacado de esta investigacion.
