En los sistemas mn-er-s y cr-er-s se han encontrado fases con estructura de maclado quimico a nivel de celda unidad y se han analizado. En ambos sistemas se han encontrado el mismo tipo de fases ordenadas con estequiometrias ab2x4, ab4x7, a3b8x15 y a2b6x11 (a=mn, cr; b=er y x=s). En el sistema mn-er-s se han encontrado cristales con modulaciones inconmensurables mientras que en el sistema cr-er-s no han sido observadas aunque si se observa un desdoblamiento del eje corto. Ademas se ha caracterizado una nueva fase de composicion    cr2er4s9. Se ha estudiado su simetria por difraccion de electrones y ademas de conocer su celda unidad se ha podido obtener su grupo espacial. Por ultimo se ha estudiado otra fase nueva del sistema cr-er-s con estructura laminar de no-concordancia similar a otras fases    lncrs3 en que ln es un lantanido que puede ser desde la hasta nd.
