Se utilizaron 6 grupos de ratas:  1) control.  2) vpa 15 mg\/l.  3) vpa 25 mg\/l.  4) vpa 15 mg\/l + 10 mg\/l carnitina.  5) vpa 25 mg\/l + 10 mg\/l carnitina.  6) carnitina 10 mg\/l.  el acido valproico ha producido una disminucion de carnitina libre en plasma e higado, asi como incrementos de esteres de corta cadena y larga cadena en musculo.  estos efectos han dependido de la dosis y han
