La adaptacion tubular se traduce en un aumento del filtrado glomerular con disminucion de la reabsorcion proximal y del asa menle de bicarbonato. La reabsorcion distal de bicarbonato, probablemente temporal, parece oponerse a la correccion de la alcalosis. El consumo de oxigeno y el recambio de atp por el ri\u00f1on se reducen en un 40% al inhibirse la reabsorcion de na+. En alcalosis se reduce la utilizacion cortical de glutamina y de glutamato a expensas de un menor transporte basolateral de glutamina y de la inhibicion de la pepck. El metabolismo renal pasa a depender del lactato y el amonio total producido durante la alcalosis se reduce.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
