Uno de los candidatos a realizar este control es el complejo pineal.  se ha realizado un estudio de trazado de vias nerviosas mediante un trazador in vivo (peroxidasa de rabano) y otro llevado a cabo in vitro en tejidos fijados en aldehidos (un derivado de la carbocianina, el dii). Este trazado se ha llevado a cabo tanto a nivel de microscopia optica como a la electronica, ya que el nivel ultraestructural es el que permite afirmar definitivamente si dicha invervacion existe. Para este estudio se han elegido una especie teleostea (carassius auratus) y una anura (rana perezi). Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que el organo subcomisural de teleosteos carece de inervacion pineal y de cualquier otro origen. En cambio, el de anuros posee inervacion pineal, junto con otra de origen desconocido. El metodo de la peroxidasa de rabano aplicado al nivel ultraestructural demuestra ser eficiente y adecuado para este tipo de estudios.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
