Carmen Rodero Gonz\u00e1lez <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Con la valoracion de parametros patobiologicos (incluyendo cuantificacion citometrica de adn), se pretende fundamentalmente conocer: a) los factores pronosticos que gobiernan la supervivencia y, b) los datos que permiten identificar los grupos de mal pronostico. Las conclusiones mas relevantes de este estudio han sido:  1.) El numero de ganglios axilares metastatizados es un factor pronostico independiente, tanto en la evaluacion de la supervivencia libre de enfermedad, como en la de supervivencia general.  2.) La determinacion morfometrica del area nuclear media de las celulas neoplasicas es de gran relevancia pronostica, pues, su valor predictivo supera al del grado histopatologico de malignidad en relacion a la supervivencia libre de enfermedad y es similar a el respecto a la supervivencia global; ademas, con su cuantificacion automatizada se reduce considerablemente la valoracion subjetiva de la misma.  3.) La citometria de adn proporciona parametros relacionados con la supervivencia, si bien esta mas en funcion con la supervivencia general que con la supervivencia libre de enfermedad. Por otro lado, los parametros citometricos de dispersion tambien son importantes en el establecimiento del pronostico del cancer de mama.  4.)
