Se ha puesto de manifiesto la influencia de determinados parametros de dise\u00f1o en la resistencia mecanica de estas uniones y su efecto en la eficiencia de aquellas. En todo este trabajo se ha analizado tambien en cada caso el modo y patron de fractura, visualmente y con tecnicas microscopicas opticas y electronicas. Finalmente se ha estudiado la durabilidad de este tipo de uniones, utilizando para ello programas de envejecimiento acelerado en atmosfera de niebla salina en condiciones de humedad y temperatura controlada y el efecto de la imposicion de una tension aplicada exteriormente. Se ha constatado que cuando se utilizan los pretratamientos adecuados de los sustratos y adhesivos estructurales tipo epoxi modificado, tanto la resistencia mecanica como la durabilidad de todas estas
