Se estudio experimentalmente la tecnica de preconcentracion con diferentes, resinas comerciales: duolita c-470, amberlita ir-120, duolita es-346, lewatit tp-207; ademas se trato quimicamente la magalla (p-ar) para aumentar su capacidad de intercambio ionico comparando su rendimiento frente a los adsorbentes comerciales empleando aguas marinas sinteticas y ensayando las siguientes variables:  flujo, ph, cantidad de agua percolada y estratificacion sobre el lecho para los metales: cr, fe, ni, cu, zn, cd y pb.  tambien se determinaron los metales en suspension, en los sedimentos marinos y en los vertidos de las aguas residuales para evaluar la contaminacion marina y por medio de un tratamiento estadistico establecer las posibles correlaciones entre los contaminantes y las aportaciones. Asi mismo, se caracterizaron las aguas residuales y se efectuo un estudio de las cuencas del municipio con localizacion y distribucion industrial por colectores para conocer su procedencia y poder cuantificar los aportes anuales al mar.  por ultimo, se realizo un reportaje aereo de la zona, comprobando que la fotografia es una buena tecnica de deteccion de la contaminacion marina y permite tambien conocer el regimen de dinamica del litoral, la localizacion de vertidos y su distribucion a un costo relativamente barato.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
