El trabajo se extiende a placas, con la consideracion de los efectos de cortante y a vibraciones en vigas rectas, de seccion transversal constante, de forma arbitraria, bajo el modelo mas general de la teoria lineal de peque\u00f1as deformaciones.  una vez hecho el planteamiento teorico de los problemas, se presenta su implementacion numerica mediante el metodo de elementos finitos, el metodo de rayleigh y el metodo de ritz. Se presentan resultados numericos para los distintos modelos, comparandolos con los obtenidos con paquetes standard de elementos finitos, con los de la teoria clasica de placas y vigas y con
