Se han ensayado tres membranas comerciales (hr-95, hr-98 y ac 990) para la concentracion del permeado de ultrafiltracion de suero de leche. Se han estudiado las distintas retenciones en diferentes condiciones de ph (5.1, 5.7, 6.2), temperatura (10-30 c), presion (1.0-5.0 mpa) y concentracion (28% maximo de solido totales). Se ha estudiado la naturaleza del permeado obtenido en cuanto a su carga contaminante (d80-5) y analisis de conductividad asi como la comprobacion de ausencia de compuestos organicos (lactosa). Los efectos de ph=6.2 son claramente negativos para el funcionamiento de las membranas debido a la posible precipitacion de sales de potasio y fosfatos como se comprueba tambien en los ensayos
