Se han estudiado 20 especies vegetales en las que se han determinado macro y microcomponentes; entre ellos, proteina, por la posibilidad de que alguna de estas plantas pueda servir como fuente de la misma; carbohidratos, acidos grasos, elementos minerales, vitaminas, etc.  de los resultados obtenidos se deduce el gran interes de alguna de las especies analizadas, por su contenido en determinados nutrientes (en algunos casos alto contenido en vitamina c, que les ha conferido fama de antiescorbuticas).  se concluye que los vegetales estudiados pueden representar una alternativa de consumo, de
