Angeles <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El gen rib5 de saccharomyces cerevisiae se ha aislado por complementacion homologa de la mutacion rib5-10 de una genoteca genomica como un fragmento kpni-acci de 1.6 kb.  el gen se transcribe dando una especie unica de arnn con una longitud de 0.85 kb. El gen codifica para un polipeptido de 238 aminoacidos con un tama\u00f1o molecular de 24.5 kda y con actividad especifica sintetasa de riboflavina.
