La induccion a proliferar de celulas quiescentes por suero u otros mitogenos (pdgf y tpa) supone un aumento de expresion de los tres genes a las 3-8 h de la adicion del mitogeno.  esta induccion es independiente de sintesis de proteina y especifica del transito quiescencia-proliferacion.  estudios con lineas nih-3t3 transfectadas por el oncogen n-ras han mostrado que el gen transformante responde a suero y que su presencia no afecta a la respuesta de los genes ras endogenos al suero. Finalmente se ha observado que la sobreexpresion de genes ras inducibles por dexametasona supone un aumento en la sintesis de dna y un aumento en la expresion de los genes ras endogenos. Estos resultados indican que las tres proteinas ras son requeridas para la respuesta proliferativa de la celula.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
