Este desplazamiento, del punto de contacto, provoca en el eje un movimiento perturbador, que puede llegar a agotar el juego de la via, solicitando lateralmente la aguja recta en una zona de longitud variable, con las consiguientes mermas en el confort del viajero y vida util de material.  en esta tesis se propone un modelo dinamico que permite analizar la circulacion de un bogie sobre el cambio de un determinado desvio, teniendo en cuenta la influencia de la velocidad de circulacion, el radio de la via desviada y el espesor minimo de la aguja para permitir el contacto de apoyo de la rueda.  finalmente, se propone solucionar el problema del contacto pesta\u00f1a-aguja recta gracias a la adecuada modificacion de la geometria de la contraaguja recta, mediante una mecanizacion especifica para cada cambio.
