Dicho estudio se realiza mediante la aplicacion del teorema de extincion de la optica fisica. Se analizan los diagramas de difusion, los de retrodifusion y las fuentes superficiales que generan la onda difundida con el fin de vislumbrar la intoraccion de la onda incidente con la superficie.
