La reaccion de reduccion carbotermica de silice y silico aluminatos en atmosfera de nitrogeno puede escribirse en un modo general:  (6-z)sio2.2z\/2al2o3 + (12-3\/2z)c + (8-z\/2)n2 &#8212; (12-3\/2)co + -si6-zalzozn8-z (1) donde z puede variar de cero (nitruracion de sio2 para producir si3n4) a valores superiores dependiendo del grado de sustitucion del sialon obtenido que a su vez sera funcion de la razon sio2\/al2o3 en la materia prima.  la reaccion anterior debe transcurrir a velocidad constante para lo cual se ha dise\u00f1ado el sistema adecuado.  en algunas muestras se ha estudiado la influencia que tiene, tanto en la reactividad quimica de las materias primas como en las estructurales del producto obtenido, el modo de la incorporacion del carbon, es decir, por simple mezcla mecanica como es convencional o bien obteniendo una mezcla natural de c mas sio2 quemando, por ejemplo, la materia organica de cascarilla de arroz en atmosfera inerte.  se ha realizado la
